(SeaPRwire) –   人權團體以及拜登政府時期的美國情報報告均指控，沙烏地王儲穆罕默德· bin Salman 謀殺案背後主謀

法國已針對沙烏地異議人士賈邁勒·卡舒吉（Jamal Khashoggi）謀殺案展開調查，起因是非政府組織 accusing 王儲穆罕默德· bin Salman 涉嫌共謀參與殺害行動。

這位 59 歲的記者兼《華盛頓郵報》撰稿人於 2018 年在土耳其伊斯坦堡訪問沙烏地領事館時遭到殺害，其遺體據信已被肢解且至今下落不明。沙烏地官方雖承認卡舒吉在領事館內遇害，但堅稱是由 unauthorized officials 執行的 rogue operation，領導層並未授權。

2022 年 7 月，卡舒吉 former organization「民主為阿拉伯世界」（Democracy for the Arab World Now, DAWN）與無國界記者組織（Reporters Without Borders, RSF）提出法律訴訟，指控穆罕默德· bin Salman 涉嫌作為一個有組織的群體的一部分，犯下酷刑與強迫失蹤罪。該訴訟指出他下令「透過窒息方式 killing 卡舒吉」。

法國國家反恐 prosecutor’s office (PNAT) 反對 initiating this investigation，此立場遭到 RSF 律師 Emmanuel Daoud 批評為「以法國 superior economic interests 為名所展現的 realpolitik，目的在於 avoiding angering the Saudi authorities。」

巴黎上訴法院 now ruled that「這些行為有可能被 classified as crimes against humanity 的可能性 cannot be ruled out。」

「一名負責 crimes against humanity unit 的法官將進一步審理此 complaint，」 prosecutor’s office 向 AFP 表示。

卡舒吉曾擔任沙烏地政府顧問，與王室 close to royal family before becoming a prominent critic of the kingdom’s leadership and relocating to the US. 沙烏地 prosecutor’s office said the journalist died after being forcibly restrained and injected with an overdose of drugs during what they described as a failed attempt to persuade him to return to Saudi Arabia.

拜登 administration released intelligence report in 2021 concluded that Mohammed bin Salman exercised「absolute control」over the kingdom and that Saudi security organizations had approved an operation to「capture or kill」Khashoggi. Saudi Arabia rejected the assessment as「false and unacceptable.」

然而，美國總統 Donald Trump said last year that the crown prince「knew nothing」about the plan to kill the journalist.
